Archer Platform User Agreement
Effective Date: February 2nd, 2026
Welcome to Archer! This User Agreement (“Agreement”) governs your (“you”, “your”, “sister”, “sisters”, member”, or “members”) access to and use of Archer (“Platform”or “Archer”) operated by Mu Sigma Upsilon Sorority, Incorporated (“Organization,” “the Sorority”, “Sorority”, “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing, using, and/or registering for the Platform, you agree to be bound by the terms of this agreement. You are expected to comply with all current and future sorority policies, procedures, and guidelines, whether or not specifically listed in this agreement.
1. Purpose of the Platform
Archer is the official platform for members of Mu Sigma Upsilon Sorority, Incorporated.
This platform is a private, sorority-owned communication and engagement space for
members of Mu Sigma Upsilon Sorority, Incorporated. Its purpose is to facilitate sorority
business, networking, collaboration, and communication engagement among undergraduate, graduate, and alumni members in accordance with the organization's values and mission.
2. Eligibility & Account Responsibilities
Access to the Platform is restricted to members of Mu Sigma Upsilon Sorority,
Incorporated. Member status will be confirmed before granting access to the platform. Non-members of the sorority are prohibited from having access to the platform. If you choose to disaffiliate from the sorority, your account access will be suspended. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You are not to share your login credentials or allow others to access the Platform under your account. By registering, you represent that all information you provide is accurate and up to date.
3. Platform Use & Conduct
The platform was created with the intent to foster community and promote a virtual safe
space across the sisterhood. As an organization that celebrates multiculturalism, we recognize and respect that diversity of perspectives and opinions will naturally be shared on this platform. While open dialogue is encouraged, all members are expected to communicate respectfully and constructively.
When using the platform, you agree to:
● Engage respectfully and professionally in all communications.
● Use the Platform for legitimate sorority-related purposes only.
● Comply with all applicable laws, organizational policies, and university rules.
● Maintain the confidentiality of any sensitive discussions, including but not limited to
personal experiences, membership activities, grievances, and judicial matters.
● Respect one another’s identities, including the use of correct names and pronouns.
You agree not to:
● Post, share, or upload content that is defamatory, harassing, intimidating,
discriminatory, obscene, threatening, or otherwise inappropriate.
● Share or screenshot any private conversations/communications, personal
information, materials, or member discussions outside the platform without consent.
● Post, share, or upload any content that could be interpreted as hazing, bullying, or
any unlawful activity.
● Use the platform to conduct any activity that could create liability for the
organization.
● Impersonate any person or misrepresent yourself or your affiliation with any entity.
● We recognize mistakes may happen, but repeated or intentional misuse of names or
pronouns is not acceptable.
4. Privacy & Data Protection
The organization reserves the right to monitor activity on the platform for compliance and safety purposes. While we take reasonable measures to protect member data, we cannot guarantee absolute security. Use the platform at your own risk.
5. Content Ownership and Responsibility
You are solely responsible for any content you post and all activity that occurs on your account. Content shared or posted by individual members represents their personal views and opinions and does not necessarily reflect and represent Mu Sigma Upsilon Sorority, Incorporated, its National Governing Council and officers, any of its respective boards and officers, or any of its corporate partners/affiliates.
Mu Sigma Upsilon Sorority, Incorporated National Governing Council and its officers does not have the financial resources or staff to regularly moderate content posted on the platform and therefore cannot monitor all posts and content at all times. It is not feasible for Mu Sigma Upsilon Sorority, Incorporated including National Governing Council and its officers to moderate and/or engage in all sister disagreements within the platform. It should not be an expectation of the National Governing Council to mitigate all conflicts/misunderstandings posted on the platform.
Any member may submit incident reports for any posts or content, including but not limited to,
photos and videos that do not align with Mu Sigma Upsilon Sorority, Incorporated’s policies including the Blue Book (Risk Management Manual). An incident report will ensure that the National Governing Council can address concerns consistently and systematically which aligns with our reporting and enforcement procedures. If you feel any content posted on the platform exhibits improper or unacceptable content as outlined in the MSU’s Blue Book, please submit a formal incident report. Incident reports can be submitted at Mu Sigma Upsilon Incident Report.
Mu Sigma Upsilon Sorority, Incorporated, and its officers reserve the right to address, moderate, remove, or report any content that violates this Agreement, organizational policies, or applicable law.
6. Hazing and Prohibited Conduct
Any content that promotes, depicts, or references hazing—directly or indirectly—may result in removal and lead to internal, university-level disciplinary action or legal action. This includes posting images of members or former prospective members during the New Membership Education process.
The organization is committed to providing a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all members. Discrimination, harassment, or exclusion of any kind will not be tolerated. To maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment, the following are strictly prohibited:
● Any language, content, posts, or images that are racist, discriminatory, or disparaging
towards individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, culture, or national origin, including but not limited to racial slurs, stereotypes, or derogatory remarks.
● Any language, content, posts, or images that are discriminatory, harassing, or disparaging toward LGBTQAI+ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer & Questioning, Asexual, Intersex, Plus) individuals or groups, including but not limited to slurs, stereotypes, or derogatory remarks.
● Any content that demeans, threatens, or excludes members based on their sex, race,
disability, veteran or military status, citizenship or immigration status, religion or creed, age, gender identity, gender expression, or sexual orientation.
7. Privacy and Subpoenas
While the organization and platforms value member privacy, we may be required to comply with subpoenas, court orders, or legal investigations. By using this Platform, you understand that your content may be subject to disclosure under lawful circumstances.
8. Limitation of Liability
Mu Sigma Upsilon Sorority, Incorporated, and the platform are not responsible for user-
generated content or damage arising from your use of the platform. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Mu Sigma Upsilon Sorority, Incorporated, its National Governing Council and their officers, any respective boards and their officers, and members from any claim’s liabilities related to your use of the platform.
Archer and Mu Sigma Upsilon Sorority, Incorporated is not liable for:
● Any disputes between users;
● Loss of data, reputation, or emotional harm resulting from Platform interactions;
● Third-party actions, including university or legal investigations prompted by user
content;
● Content posted by users or moderators.
Use the Platform at your own risk. The Platform is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.
10. Enforcement & Termination
Violation of this agreement may result in suspension, internal judicial hearings, and/or
permanent removal from this platform. The organization reserves the right to remove content or accounts at its discretion, without notice.
11. Changes to the Agreement
The organization may update this agreement at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

agree to be bound by this Agreement.
